How does the platform safety checker work?
Your photo is shrunk in your browser, then rated by an AI model (xAI’s Grok) against short summaries of each platform’s published content rules. You get a verdict per platform, how sure the model is, and the reason.
Is my photo stored?
No. It is sent to our server and the AI model for the check only, held in memory and not saved or logged. Shrinking it in your browser also removes its metadata, like location, before it leaves your device.
Can it guarantee a post won’t be limited?
No. Platforms don’t share their own detection or reach systems, so this is an estimate. A photo rated likely fine can still be limited, and a borderline one can do well.
What does “borderline” mean?
The photo is probably allowed but could be kept out of recommendations or For You, the way platforms treat suggestive content. On X it may need the sensitive-media label; on Reddit, a community that allows it.
How many checks can I run?
A handful a minute and a daily cap per visitor, so the tool stays free. The result shows how many you have used today.
